Got some food and soda, and it started raining lightly again.
There were still lots of people in the square, and I considered including them all in the proposal, but decided against it. We were walking slowly back to the bus, looking at the neat buildings and I saw the random sculpture thing in the smaller square, so we went to go take pictures of it. We do that, we're tourists.
While we had been eating pizza, I had been telling Lisa how wonderful she is, and other nice things. Once we got to the sculpture in the smaller square, I was determined to propose there. Beautiful small town, a light mist in the air, etc. Seemed right. So, as she has mentioned in one of her posts, I proposed. She said yes, was happy, cried a little, all the things a girl should do I guess. I'm very new at all this.
We got back to the bus, and she told lots of people on our tour, and everyone was very happy for us. Nicky announced it over the bus intercom system, and everyone cheered. All in all, quite successful. Can't even tell you how good it felt to have it done. Not that I didn't enjoy the whole thing, and I know that I was pretty much assured a "yes" it was still really, really stressful.
So now I have a fiancée, and I’m thrilled.
